Bobalu Cigar Co. first opened the doors on famous E. 6th st. on Feb 14, 1997. Bobalu is a cigar manufacturer that has making their own lines of cigars for 20 years. Started by some University of Texas Grads, Bobalu has been an Austin, Texas original ever since. By simple luck, Bobalu’s was able to hook up with another local icon Caritas, and their Cuban refugee program to supply experienced Cuban cigar rollers over the past 20 years. Usually if you are not from Miami or Tampa you would not have a chance to see to time honored tradition of making premium cigars by hand. This is what sets Bobalu Cigars apart from the rest, we are the factory and customers can come in and watch the cigar rollers making cigars
